Prototype One
Prototype one succesfully made it to the top of the first and second levels of incline, but failed to make it to the top of the third incline. We designed our car this way because the back tires would not touch the ground with the front tires at the same angle as the rear. So we made the front tires vertical to keep it from hitting the ground. Then we put two tires on the back to add more power. This car failed because of the lack of weight and friction it had. With added weight and friction it should be more succesful.
Prototype two
Prototype two succesfully made it to the top of the third level of incline. We added alot more weight to the front of the car to help it get more friction. We made a spoiler like structure for more weight, which until the last incline worked well for us. When going up the last level of incline it bounced uncontrollable and did not make it up to the top. We still need to add more weight to stop it from bouncing.
Prototype three
Prototype three succesfully made it to the top of all of the levels of incline. The changes that we made to prototype two were able to fix our problems and help us get to the top of the incline. We took the spoiler like structure down and connected it to the side of the car. Then we put extentions down the side of the car to put smaller tires on the botttom of the board to keep the car from falling back. This proved to be the answer to our problems as our newly improved car made it to the top of all the level of inclines.
